Have you ever wondered what it’s like to feel the breeze pass through your hair and have a lake view next to your side while you dine? Well that is the feeling you get at Oasis. The moment you walk in you are in awe of how  many plants, sculptures, and beauty that surrounds you. Not long ago, I decided to visit Oasis with my mom and younger sister.

As soon as we entered, a waitress walked us to a table for three outside. We scanned a QR code for the menu and had a variety of Tex-Mex food to choose from. My mother chose the chicken enchiladas ($17.99), I chose the beef enchiladas ($18.99), and my younger sister chose the nachos from the kid’s menu ($4.49). Overall, I would rate my plate a seven out of ten; I would’ve liked warmer and more cheesy enchiladas. However, my mother thought her chicken enchiladas were right on the spot and really enjoyed them! Finally, nobody can go wrong with a simple meal of nachos; those were definitely a ten. Next time I go, I would definitely want to get black beans instead of refried beans. After our main courses, we decided to try flan for dessert. When cutting it, you can instantly tell it is freshly made. Its smooth surface and freshness once inside your mouth is definitely worth getting. To all the caramel lovers, you would enjoy the tartness and sweetness of caramel on the flan.

Right after eating, we decided to explore and continue to enjoy the beauty of Oasis. We first went to a fence full of locks where loved ones can put their initials in a lock to be eternally together. Then we went back to the breathtaking entrance where all types of plants and sculptures surround you. Outside of the restaurant, there are also many places you can visit and possibly buy things from. There is an ice cream shop, a handmade western shop, and an antique shop- all places you should stop and take a look in.

If you are looking for a place to go on a date, celebrate your birthday, or have a meeting of some sort, Oasis is definitely the place for you! Prices range from $6.49 to $26.99 for a dish, and whether you eat inside or outside your experience at Oasis will be unforgettable.
