American football is better than any other sport. Other people say that it’s not better compared to soccer because it’s boring. But, in my opinion, nothing can beat football for bringing people together, and giving you a good time to spend with friends.
I have many reasons for saying American football is superior to other sports. First of all, football involves intense physical aggression with players that have speed, power, and enough toughness to keep the game intense and really interesting to the viewers. Soccer, on the other hand, can be confusing to new viewers. But football’s appeal is obvious.
Yes, football can be dangerous because it involves a lot of collisions. Players have to be careful because too many collisions to the head can cause CTE or other brain disorders. However, players are protected because they have helmets, shoulder pads, and other protective gear. Football players practice with all this gear and and are taught to tackle with proper form, keeping in mind they have to have power and strength to play. Even with all this gears there can be deaths or serious injuries, but everyone who plays takes the risk seriously.
And football gives us the Super Bowl, which is like an amazing non-religious holiday. This year, the lead-up to the Super Bowl, the NFL playoffs, was crazy, because there were so many surprises. Though most of the best teams are led by amazing quarterbacks, like Aaron Rodgers and Patrick Mahomes, football is a team game and all of the best teams had talented players throughout their lineups.
But maybe the biggest reason why I love the NFL is because you can watch games everywhere, with crowds or at home. When the playoffs or Super Bowl happens in America, Pluckers or Buffalo Wild Wings make a good amount of money because of the game. Grown people want to watch a game with people that might support the same team. Everyone wants to eat something good while they watch a good game.
When I want to watch I like to be with friends and people that like the same sport cheering our own team and having a fun time. In other words, I believe that American football is better than soccer because it’s such a great event for getting out of the house and watching with your homies.
