Made in 2014 Five Nights at Freddy’s, originally, an indie horror game created by Scott Cawthon, has come along with success for it to become a movie. After 6 years of waiting, the Five Nights at Freddy’s movie finally come out, and FNAF fans went crazy after someone leaked a picture of the FNAF Pizzeria location where one of the scenes was being filmed at on February 2nd, 2023.
On February 12th, fans then got to see images of the Freddy Fazbear’s sign on Twitter, then revealed a video of how the sign was being built behind the scenes. And later on that day FNAF fans found out the two top cast for the movie and go crazy that Matthew Lillard is acting and having the role of Willam Afton, as well as Josh Hutcherson acting as Mike Schmidt. Uploaded on TikTok on February 27th, a background actor took a video of the actor, Josh Hutcherson, beating someone up on a fountain inside a mall and then getting a picture of the actor’s back with the shirt saying “Security.”
By March 3rd the FNAF Pizzeria was then being taken down because crew members were done filming, the next day March 4th, a leaked picture of two heads of two worn-out Spring Traps for the film was uploaded.On April 5th, the craziest update, BlumHouse dropped a picture on their Instagram of Golden Freddy holding on to a little girl’s hand as they stare at the Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria and with the caption that the movie will be out in theaters on October 27, 2023.
So far fans have also been trying to get information from the actors or other people, as some have been able to succeed in getting confirmations from them, though it’s not a lot of answers or questions.
A lot of fans questioned the movie’s rating. Michael Sullivan, one of the actors, confirmed and stated that the movie “Will probably be Rated R.” Some fans also wanted answers if a famous YouTuber, Markiplier, will have a part in the movie, not been confirmed ,but in an interview by Variety they asked Markiplier if he will be in the movie, Markiplier responded, “That there is some scheduling conflict.” As there was a gathering in Megacon where Matthew Lillard was attending, a fan asked him new and further questions, though it’s not revealed what the fan asked, Matthew Lillard answered and stated, “The movie I just filmed is only based on the first 3 (game’s).”
By now there have been more updates of leaked pictures and videos behind the scenes as for new cast members for the movie coming in every day. Some fans are getting irritated that other fans will spoil the movie before it even comes out. As well there have been fake leaked pictures that some fans are falling for. But so far, fans can’t wait for the movie to come out after finding out about the release date of the movie.
