Austin is filled with food places that provide different cultural dishes. Although we have so many, it’s hard to tell which ones are truly good and which ones are not worth it. K BBQ is a well-known family-owned restaurant that serves all-you-can-eat Korean barbecue.

They first opened in September 2021 but were originally going to open before the pandemic. The delay allowed the owners to design new ideas to optimize the customer experience for every one of their customers. As soon as we entered the restaurant, we were greeted by a worker asking us how many people were with us. The one thing I don’t find very convenient is that if there is a party of 5 or more, you get charged extra. As they took us to our table, we looked around, and we loved how advanced the restaurant was. They had robots serving our food, so the servers wouldn’t struggle as much. For our meal, we ordered the A combo, which included Wagyu beef prime brisket, Wagyu beef belly, prime rib marinated in sweet and savory sauce, pork belly, pork jowl meat, and baby octopus. We also decided to get an appetizer of tteok-bokki. In total, our meal was $158.04. For us, this was expensive, and in our opinion, we did not enjoy it as much as we thought we would.

For us, K BBQ wasn’t worth the price, and the flavor was not what we liked. If you like sweet stuff, you would probably like it, but we have to mention once again that it was really expensive. We recommend going to other Korean BBQ restaurants that are more affordable and have a better taste.
