Sweet Memes is an all pink dessert and tea spot found at 3801 South Congress Avenue, Suite 109 that opened July 4 in St. Edwards neighborhood. The space is adorned with flowers and garden decorations. This shop began with the hope to become a trend like a MEME but it had to be a SWEET one! According to the owners, it was a desire to bring people happiness whenever they tasted sweet treats. This cafe is known for its soufflé pancakes, which are Japanese pancakes that are thick and somewhat tall but still fluffy topped with various sauces, ice cream of your choice, and whipped cream.
The menu includes different types of desserts like crepes, waffles, Vietnamese desserts and shibuya toast with prices varying from $9.50 to $11.99. The drink menu is huge too; it includes coffees, milk teas with boba, frappuccinos, fruit tea, fresh juice, and smoothies, ranging from $5.75 to $7.00. It’s a really cute place to have brunch with your friends or family. We would recommend you going in the morning since it’s more like breakfast. They open Tuesday – Sunday from 11 AM to 10 PM and closed Mondays.
Right now since it is winter time they decorate the place with Christmas decorations and they put a background to take pictures inspired by the Barbie movie. We recommend this place if you have a sweet tooth and are in the downtown area looking for Vietnamese and Japanese treats.
