Looking for places to go this spring with your friends and family? As the weather starts warming up, what better way to spend it than going out into the beaming sun and enjoying the outdoors?

If you are looking for ways to elevate your travel experiences and even photos at an affordable price, flower fields are the perfect place to go during spring with your friends and family. Brushy Creek Lake Park is about 20 miles north of downtown Austin and has a 90-acre oasis with nature trails and a 38-acre lake. Wandering through rows of vibrant flowers, breathing in the sweet scents, and feeling the warm rays of sun on your face create an experience you will remember. This place is also great as they offer picnic tables to eat at, and then take a swim in the freshwater they have there.

Do you enjoy  hiking or going on  trail walks? We suggest going to the Mayfield Park and Nature Preserve. This place is about 11 minutes from downtown Austin, and it’s perfect because it is free entry and open to the public. Their park is 23 acres and has towering palm trees, lush gardens, and brilliant peacocks surrounded by lily and koi fish-filled ponds that are pleasant to look at. This location is splendid for anyone who enjoys naturally beautiful views.

Finally, If you’re looking for a fun experience to go out with your friends and family, the Rodeo Austin Carnival is here! The carnival offers more than 80 rides and games, including the Ferris wheel, fast-spinning rides, and go-karts. They also have food and treats like cotton candy, funnel cakes, hot dogs, and turkey legs. Guests must pay a $10 entry fee to be allowed in. If you only want to play a few games or rides, prices range from $2-$10 each, with most rides being $3-$4. However, if you are planning to spend all day long here, we highly recommend purchasing the wristbands for $45. So, if you want thrilling and fun memories, the carnival is the perfect place for all ages to enjoy!
