America is in for a rough ride for the next four years.
It’s crazy to see that people would rather vote for a 34-count convicted felon, sexual abuser, and uneducated old man for president just because he’s a man, when Kamala Harris is twice as educated and actually cares about women and people of color.
The comparison between the two comes down to two things, policies and character. Kamala went to Howard University and the UC Law in San Francisco to later become the District Attorney in San Francisco, CA. Trump went to the University of Pennsylvania and has a degree in economics, yet he has filed for bankruptcy six times already, which clearly shows he knows nothing about what a business needs, much less America’s economy.
Kamala Harris has shown her support for women’s healthcare, even when it comes to abortion, while Trump has said multiple times that abortion is murder. He even admitted on live television that he is proud of being the one to overturn Roe V. Wade, which protected a woman’s right to seek abortion healthcare depending on the stage of the pregnancy. He set women’s rights back 50 years of progress which has led to an increase in maternal mortality by 7%.
Donald Trump has been convicted of 34 counts of falsified business records to conceal a $130,000 payment to an adult film star Stormy Daniels to influence the results of the 2016 election. He has been accused of 26 counts of sexual misconduct by women who have said he raped, groped, or kissed them without consent, he’s even been heard bragging about these interactions with other politicians, yet he’s denied all allegations.
Kamala Harris’ policies are far superior to that of Trumps. Her main positions are to cut taxes for middle class families, strengthen and bring down costs for healthcare, tackle the climate crisis, restore, protect reproductive freedoms, etc. Donald Trump supports the Project 2025 plan, and wants to further his agenda to give himself unchecked legal power and control of the Department of Justice and the FBI. Trump has proven time and time again that he only cares about himself, proving that people don’t listen until it’s too late.
Days after the election results came out, the most searched question in red states is “How to change my vote”. They’ve seen all the damage Trump’s plans are already doing and he isn’t even in office yet. Coming from someone who can’t vote, I am envious and enraged that people who can vote don’t educate themselves before deciding on who to vote on.
The only president in history to be impeached twice is now returning to office. That should tell you all you need to know.
