Have you ever gotten tired of eating the same food and wished to find a new place to dine? Kura Revolving sushi may be the answer to your problems. It allows for a unique dining experience in which one has the freedom to choose a plate whenever they choose.
I chose to go with my family and there wasn’t a wait to get in since we went on a Sunday at about 5 pm. The hostess got us seated and asked if we had been there previously. I had already dined there previously but never with family. As we got to our table there was a screen above our heads where we could order any plates that we wanted if we had not seen them on the revolving line previously in. My family is not fond of many meals that contain fish in them, but thankfully they had many hot dishes that they could choose from as well. Both of my brothers decided to have the Miso Ramen which cost about $10.60. Me and my dad decided to get the Beef Udon which cost about $10.65. After we had placed our food orders we only had to wait about 8-10 minutes until we received our food.
The noodles were cooked greatly and the broth had a rich flavor which could only be described as comforting. I was very pleased with my meal, although there was one thing that stuck out to me. The beef from my noodles was somewhat hard and difficult to chew which might have been due to overcooking. Overall, my dad and I were very pleased with how our noodles had turned out, as well as my brothers. I introduced my family to some of the smaller dishes from the revolving plates such as the Umami oil seared beef, and the Seared beef with Yakiniku sauce. We enjoyed the Umami oil-seared beef bites most as they were light but filled with a rich flavor. We also noticed that after eating many of the smaller plates of sushi, once 15 plates had been dispensed into the depositing space you could get a keychain from the dispensers above. We then decided on some dessert. My brothers and I all tried the Strawberry Mochi ice cream. It came with 4 halves of mochi on a plate ready for you to eat costing $5.00. My brothers liked it so much that they ordered multiple of them. My dad also ordered the sesame balls as a dessert and he commented on the fact that they were very chewy, my brother also decided to get a slice of New York cheesecake which he claimed to be very tasty.
Overall, our total came to $115.00 with all the food and drinks that we had consumed. Me and my family had water and Sprites with a couple of refills. It was a little pricey but for all the delicious food we had we found it acceptable. Kura Revolving sushi bar is filled with a fun, playful environment in which we were very comfortable. We decided to come back and enjoy the experience again some other time. Dining there is a great way to have fun with friends and family as it will always make sure that you leave with a smile on your face.
