Austin is full of romantic and exciting activities to do with your sweetheart as Valentine’s Day. But maybe you’re looking for ideas beyond the normal dinner-and-a-movie. If so, here are some more creative ideas you may not have considered.
Love & Cookies
(3736 Bee Cave Road)
Ashley Cameron perfected her grandmother’s top secret cookie recipe with her son Charlie, as a way to create joy after his diagnosis with Kawasaki Disease. It was incredibly important to Ashley that her son was eating food made with only the best possible ingredients and no preservatives, as Kawasaki Disease causes inflammation in the heart’s arteries. Her friends and family loved their cookies so much, they encouraged her to open a Love & Cookies brick-and-mortar, which is exactly what she did. At the shop you can find a variety of original cookies, seasonal cookies, gluten free cookies, brownies, cinnamon rolls, and possibly the best cookie cake we’ve ever tried. The Escape Game
(405 Red River Street)
The escape room center is one of the best escape rooms in Austin. I recommend taking your partner here because it’s a fun and creative activity to do with your partner for Valentine’s. This activity is also a good way to improve your chemistry and communication skills with each other. The theme of this escape room is based on the two shows named ‘’’gold rush’’, and ‘’prison break’’. So if your partner is interested in any of these shows it will be a great idea to take them to the Escape Game! Info here: https://theescapegame.com/austin
