Who isn’t excited for Valentine’s Day? The day is full of people coming together, friendship, and love in the air. But with this holiday, the least exciting and hardest thing must be not knowing what to get for the people you love. This gift guide will help you with some ideas of what you could do or buy for your loved one!
Not sure what to do for your girlfriend, mom, or sister? You could take them out for dinner to the nearest restaurant or take a little drive out to try a new restaurant with a beautiful view! A restaurant I recommend for you is “The Oasis,” which is located on Lake Travis. This restaurant sells Tex-Mex food, which is Texan and Mexican food combined. If you’re lucky enough or have made a reservation, you can be seated outside, and at the right time, you will be able to see the beautiful sunset. The outside and inside of the restaurant are filled with unusual and colorful art pieces, making this a uniquely pretty experience. Additionally, the stair fence going up to the top floor is filled with locks with dates of when couples started dating written on them. How romantic!

And who doesn’t love flowers? Especially bouquets! You could get your mom or girlfriend a “Ramo Buchón” made by your nearest flower shop or local small business florist. Girls love to receive flowers, so why not just go all out and get them 50 roses with some sunflowers mixed in! With the flowers, you could always add a stuffed animal, chocolates, gift cards, and a letter telling them how much you love them!

Have a guy in mind that you want to show love to but don’t know how? Your dad, guy friends, brother, or boyfriend? No one ever really knows what to gift to guys since they don’t really ask for things, but one thing about guys is that they love to smell good! You can buy cologne gift sets that can be found and bought at Target, Walmart, and Marshalls. Pay attention to what games they like and want, so you can gift them their favorite video games. Or try gifting guys new pairs of jeans, but make sure to know the size and style that best fit them.
There are also many gift sets of things like clothing, hygiene, video games, and many more Valentine’s sets out there that you can buy just in case you’re not sure what to gift your Valentine. But always remember, Valentine’s Day is a day to show your love and appreciation to your loved ones. So the main focus isn’t what you give someone, but more about your time together and showing your love through your actions!
