Hank’s Austin is located in Berkman Dr and offers casual brunch food and is mostly vegetarian dishes. They offer everything from Californian comfort food to pastries. Their style is modern minimalist boho, surrounded by green plants, huge mirrors, and a beautiful shaded patio. They are also a pet-friendly restaurant, so you can bring your sociable pet to brunch with you. This could be your next place to go!
When we looked at the menu we were a bit intimidated because we didn’t know the kind of food they were serving. Once we decided what to order we started out with drinks. One person got an iced matcha for $5.50 but to include a sweetener was an additional dollar. While the other person got a Coca-Cola. We both decided to try out their cheeseburger for $14 and to add bacon for an additional $2. The meal came with fries and ketchup on the side. When ordering this meal they do ask if you want your meat “pink”, “little pink” or “no pink” depending on your taste in meat. The service was lovely and very welcoming. Next time we are deciding to eat outside on the patio to enjoy the fresh breeze.
As we got our food we were amazed at the proportions of the burger and fries. The burger was pretty big and they gave us a lot of fries. After giving our reviews on the proportions of the food we decided to try it. Everyone got their first bite and let me tell you it was one of the best burgers I’ve ever tried. It was juicy, tasty, and over delicious. You could taste all of the flavors in your mouth. We all gave the burger a 8.5 out of 10. Moving on with the fries, the french fries were so good. They had a unique taste of salt and an herbal seasoning. We gave the french fries a good 8 out of 10. We didn’t expect the food to taste really good, on the contrary we thought we were going to rate it lower.
Overall, the experience was beautiful and very fun. Customer service was great, they attended us with respect and it was pretty fast. The aesthetic of the restaurant was beautiful, really boho with plants that make the environment really stand out. It was fun trying new places with our friends and rating places we have never tried before. If yall are wanting to go to a new place I highly suggest going to Hank’s Austin for a nice and fun experience.
