As the sun rose on the KAC soccer field on Friday, September 18, seniors gathered together to celebrate the beginning of their final year of high school.

Senior Sunrise gave the Class of 2027 a chance to spend time together, take pictures, listen to music, and enjoy one of the first special moments of senior year. The annual event, which has become a KAC tradition, was organized by the Senior Ambassadors and attended by approximately 75 students.

For many seniors, the morning was more than just watching the sunrise. It was a reminder of how quickly high school has gone by and how many memories have been made along the way.

Students came together with their friends, dressed up in their senior spirit, and enjoyed the morning before starting the school day. From taking pictures to simply talking with friends, everyone had their own way of making the morning memorable.

Senior year is filled with many “lasts,” but Senior Sunrise was one of the first moments that made it feel real. The Class of 2027 is officially beginning its final year, and there are still many memories to make before graduation.

Senior Sunrise was not just about watching the sun come up—it was about watching a new chapter begin.
